A locked-seat license is generated against a single computer and is locked to it. It is used to license any given computers on a one-by-one basis. They are not transferable. The only exception is in the event that you renew your computer.

A site license is used to run the plug-in in a whole studio. A single license is used for all computers in a single location. It will also be used for the render farm.
